A startup CRM that tells you which deal is slipping

A startup CRM for founders: AI deal health scoring with reasons, follow-up tasks generated from deals and meeting notes, stage SLA timers and pipeline analytics — in the same workspace as your goals, tasks and meetings. The pipeline is free; the AI layer is on Operator and Command.

What it does

Sales work, without the CRM admin

AI deal health scoring

Every deal gets a health score with the reasons behind it and a next best action, recalculated from the notes, activity and stage movement already on the record.

  • Score with plain-language reasons, not a black box
  • Recently worsened deals surfaced before they go cold
  • A suggested next step on every open deal

Automated follow-up tasks

Turn deal context and meeting notes into follow-up tasks with owners and due dates instead of writing them out after every call.

  • Follow-ups generated from the latest deal context
  • Meeting notes attach to a deal and become tasks
  • Tone, task types and max tasks per suggestion are configurable

Stage SLA timers

Set how long a deal should sit in each stage. Anything drifting past its window is flagged on the board before the quarter ends.

  • Per-stage SLA windows you define
  • Breach badges on the deal card and a dashboard banner
  • Overdue-risk deals ranked so you know what to work first

Pipeline analytics

Weighted forecast totals, stage-by-stage conversion rates and health trends over time, all exportable to CSV.

  • Weighted forecast by stage and close date
  • Funnel conversion and drop-off per stage
  • CSV export for forecast, conversion, health trends and worsened deals

Lead and contact import

Bring leads in from CSV or a web form. Duplicates are merged and new deals are auto-assigned to the right pipeline stage.

  • CSV import with column mapping
  • Deduplication against existing contacts and deals
  • AI stage detection for imported leads

Contacts that stay connected

Contacts, deals, meetings and tasks live in the same workspace as your goals, so pipeline work rolls up to the outcome it's supposed to move.

  • One contact record across deals and meetings
  • Deal activity history on the timeline
  • Free, unlimited viewer seats for advisors and investors

Why founders switch

Enterprise CRMs are built for sales teams you don't have yet

Most founders sell out of a spreadsheet or a CRM designed for a team of twenty reps and an admin to configure it. Both fail the same way: the data goes stale between calls, and nothing tells you which conversation is quietly dying.

This pipeline scores health from real activity, flags deals past their stage window, and writes the follow-ups from your meeting notes — so the board reflects reality without you maintaining it.

What's on each plan
  • Free — pipeline stages, deals, contacts, meeting attachment, investor CRM and data room
  • Operator, $29/editor seat/mo — AI deal health, follow-ups, SLA timers, analytics, lead import
  • Command, $79/editor seat/mo — everything in Operator plus recurring investor updates and scoped data-room sharing
  • Viewer seats — free and unlimited on every plan

Questions

Startup CRM, answered

What is a startup CRM?

A startup CRM is a lightweight sales system for a small founding team: a pipeline of deals by stage, contact records, and follow-ups — without the admin overhead, custom objects and per-seat cost of an enterprise CRM. In Founder Productivity it sits next to your goals, tasks and meetings rather than in a separate tool.

Why not just use a spreadsheet?

A spreadsheet holds the list but never tells you which deal is slipping. The pipeline here scores deal health from actual activity, flags deals past their stage SLA, and turns meeting notes into follow-up tasks with owners and dates.

Is the CRM free?

The basic pipeline — stages, deals, contacts and meeting attachment — is free forever. The AI layer (deal health scoring, AI follow-ups, stage SLA timers, pipeline analytics and lead import) is on Operator at $29 per editor seat per month and Command at $79 per editor seat per month. Viewer seats are free and unlimited on every plan.

How long does setup take?

Create a workspace, import a CSV of leads or add deals manually, and adjust the default stages. Imported leads are deduplicated and assigned to a stage automatically, so most founders are working the board the same day.

How is my pipeline data kept private?

Every record is scoped to your workspace and enforced at the database level with row-level security, and roles are checked server-side. AI runs on the records in your workspace to produce drafts you review before anything is saved.
